  hi quotes; first i will never knock any of the great work you have done. and i thank you 1000x for your education of the jw community. i listened to one of your radio interviews, and of course you were on the $$$$$$$ money with your facts. only in my opinion you were a little soft. on the craptower. maybe should should try to take the gloves, off and really drag them through the mud. at times... i'm sure we can have some hardliners call in . and shake thing up. i love to play the bad guy. have fun john

  Did I do wrong on skeeping the "fading" stage?

  up to last month i was a witness in "good" standing in the cong.

  i was not from the elite circle but everybody respects me and a lot of people go to me for advice or comfort when they feel left out by "holy ones".

  so, i don't know if i made a mistake by cutting all jw activities at once because now i think i'm the topic of the conversation and phone calls already started to come this past weekend.

  let your friend know , that one day she will come to realize how smart your were in your decision. keep a shovel near the door for when the elders come by. tell them since the bible says they are already dead in christ. they might as well dig thier own grave. offer them that shovel and close the door. john

  I think I've finally had it! (long)

  some of you may know that i had regularly been studying with the jw's for about two years, but i was never baptized.

  i stumbled on some information about the child molestation scandal a few months ago, and that started me on the road to questioning the organization (for further details on my situation, see my topic history).. anyway, up until now, i had decided to just fade into the background, still attending sunday kh meetings because i want to attend some church, and i just don't know where else to go (don't agree w/ the teachings of the other churches in my vicinity either).

  my last "study" w/ my bible study conductor (a month or so ago) was terrible.

  hi lynn: i posted in your last few threads. and i'm full of venom about the wt. but all the venom you see in my posts. are nothing to the venom that the jw's show to someone. when you don't kneel at the wt's feet. it's been the jw's that have been persecuting you. you ask a few good questions. or don't kiss thier asses. now jehovah is going to kill you... what a load of shit. they are only looking for people that can be easliy CONNED. after i did one months reseach on the wt . i had the elders heads spinning. Now i have years of experence , and they run when they see me on the street. BE SMART CUT YOUR LOSSES, NOW AND FORGET ABOUT THEM. OR PAY MY PLANE FARE TO YOUR TOWN, FOR A FEW WEEKS AND WATCH ME MAKE THEM ALL LOOK LIKE SPRITUAL DRUNKARDS. thank your self that you saW through them , before they made a WT ZOMBIE OUT OF YOU ...   What do you think they'd do if I did this at the Memorial?

  this year was going to be the first time in my life that i did not attend the memorial.

  but i just thought of something that i would love to try out for a stir.

  what do you think would happen if i skulled the entire glass of wine?

  jw facts' i went to a kh a few years ago for the memorial. with my brother . we both shared the cracker and wine. in fact to said loud . for my brother to save me some wine. we didn't get bounced. but a few jw's questions us after the meeting. since this was a hall that no one knew us . we answered that , some jw invited us to the last supper. then i read then jn :6:49-53 and mt 28:19-20 then my brother asked were does he bring the cheese cake that is in the car. after the jw's serve the supper. when he heard there was no food. he asked , i guess all the jw's had the last supper at home . and saved the bread and wine for the new comers he finished off with " i hope we're not the only ones to bring cake. who's making the coffee in the end i said i thought this was a christian service for the ressurection of jesus, from the dead. we better rush to the church down the road, and get some proper spritual food. then we left. john p.s. if you go bring a witness with you.

  it asks many drone-like thought-provoking questions as i've listed below.

  incredible that these guys claim to be the sole ownership of what is absolute "truth", yet change doctrines like i change lipsticks.

  ok i think i have a few of the answers. as for 1976. it had to do with ray franz's research on the gb of bibicial times which hAD the gb changing to a more of a rotating committee . which in a sense took much power away from knorr and fred franz. as told in COC. 1919 HAS TO DO WITH THE SO CALLED CLEASNING OF THE FDS OR CHOOSING OF THEM BY JESUS. EVEN THOUGH THE WT WAS TEACHING THE OLD FDS WAS CHOOSEN IN 1878 TILL THE 1930-40'S In the 20's it was the change from 3 classes of christians. fds=144000 great crowd= non anointed jw's to also be in heaven. rev 7 and the other sheep were to be good hearted members of christiandom that were deluded by their pastors. but still would live on earth forever.. 1931 the change in name to jw's to distance from the bible students. which was a very hot debate in much of the 1920's wt mag's for the 1930's i would say the 1935 speech about 2 classes 144000 and other sheep. the great crowd is now out. as for the ? about the 1920's i can't think of a thing. that the wt still teaches from that time except. no holidays. john

  I JUST LOGGED ON: and i'm happy i found this thread i was going to log off and watch T.V. since i haven't found to many intresting threads in the last day or two. now i'm going to stay and read all the other threads about the guardian paper. i want to thank everyone that worked to get the quotes info into a major newspaper. and all those that started threads . to help alert everyone that comes to this site.

  sorry how long this is but i found the meeting very exciting.

  the short version is i said directly that i do not believe in the wts, feel being d/f is unfair on my jw family so asked them to just leave me alone.

  i was talking to this jw on vacation from guatamala (spelling) about 6 months ago. he told me clearly . the mag's are sold for a fixed price. in that country.
